Yes for sure, for even more confirmation in case you missed it, even Spill it, Milk it shared on their feed that their journalist (and guru gossip QUEEN! lolz) Atta (Rahls, not Thompson who can't get a good story for her life. side note, idk what the odds are of TWO journalists being named freaking atta, but no matter the reason, thompson needsda go like a froyo needsa go down my thro-yo- as whijo would say haha) could confirm it's definitely happening. on TOP of this, she even had a leak (along with some cute photo of april high fiving Jane in some weird alley scene) with footage from the set filming! It apparently looks to be ending up like some soap opera mahem style approach, where the episode isnt exactly canon? Instead it's moreso just a fun episode to splurge on and enduldge in I guess, I mean I watched the footage leak, and everything seems to be pointing that way cause the little bits that are seen are crazy dramatic, but kinda goofy haha. In case someone didn't get the chance to see it (I think they might get taken down, idk if it was cool of her to share it or not with the production company. seems a bit like it wasn't supposed to be shared if you ask me), using what was shown with what was written by Atta: it seems the next episode after that one will just depict things to be back to the way things were prior to the Jane-Ex crossover, (or JanEX! as people abbreviate hahah) so in that case, it's def not meant to be taken ultra seriously. Atta does explain though the crazy antics of some scenes and it's WILD :o Like, in the episode they take a classic Pink Panther trope (ik...out of all things to reference and garner your inspiration from for a soap opera?? LOL) where it's gonna have Darryl AND WhiJo conspire and succeed in STEALING Jane's wallet for some unknown reason that seems to be associated with the old lady/evil mom with a hook for a hand from jane the virgin (her name is catching me rn), and it'll cause Jane to go on that big-ole manhunt that PP always has to do to find his culprit. She ends up crossing paths with April...but begins to see her as a threat!!! Apparently Jane's sweet little baby boy starts to call APRIL his mom. This is just the literal beginning of the madness that ensues- but again, it's meant to be a mock-exaggerated Soap opera in tribute to Jane the Virgin always playing on Telenovela tropes. so now we'll get some classic white suburb mom soap opera action from CXG. I can'T WAIT and am gonna start a wiki documenting all the maddness. So many goodies in store this season and Spill It Milk It is always such a tirelessly reliable source for updates for the show and crew in general. Especially atta who always gets such crazy insider info. I think we're ALL thinking the same thing about her sources being someone on the show, she has GOT to have the hookup for constantly giving us the TEA. Also speaking of other things "GOT" could mean, she did this way back with game of thrones also! Like Atta knew the ending and how horrible season 8 would be before anyone else was talking about it.

If they do the soap opera stuff with jane it'll defintiely get mixed reactions cause sure its fun but its also all a waste of time since it doesnt really happen. I saw the clip and cant decide what to think. maybe its all a joke you know ;p
