The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Theme Song is used for the opening of the show during Season One, which explains its premise. It features Rebecca Bunch singing alongside cartoon versions of the other main season 1 characters and her getting angry at being referred to as crazy by them. In several episodes the musical number is set up by a character questioning Rebecca's origin. Its first appearance was in the Season One episode "Josh's Girlfriend is Really Cool!". This was also done as a meta reprisal done later in the season by Scott and Paula Proctor. The song is track number 1 on the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: Original Television Soundtrack (Season 1 - Vol.1).
