Friendtopia is a musical performance featuring Rebecca Bunch, Valencia Perez and Heather Davis. In the song they celebrate their new friendship and also make plans for world domination. The song was first heard in the Season Two episode "Who Needs Josh When You Have a Girl Group?". The song is track number 16 on the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: Original Television Soundtrack (Season 2).

Parody

The song "Friendtopia" is a parody of the British 1990's girl band the "Spice Girls". It specifically seems to be musically based on the single "Spice Up Your Life", while it's a visual parody of "Wannabe". There are also lyrical references to "Wannabe", specifically "zig-a-zow!" is a parody of " zigazig-ah!", while the roll call in the middle of "Friendtopia" is similar to the rap in "Wannabe".

For Your Consideration performance

On April 5, 2017 Aline Brosh McKenna and most of the cast of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend were on stage at the For Your Consideration Emmy event. They performed several songs from Season Two including "Remember That We Suffered" which was sung by Rachel Bloom and Gabrielle Ruiz with David Hull taking the place of Vella Lovell who couldn't be there due to other commitments.
