Heather and Hector are a newly wed married couple and residents of West Covina, California. They met through mutual acquaintances Rebecca Bunch and Josh Chan who were engaged at the time. Their relationship progressed quickly after their friends wedding was called off. They began dating which led to Hector moving out of his moms house and moving in with Heather. Hector was there to support Heather when Rebecca attempted suicide and also when his girlfriend agreed to be a surrogate for Darryl Whitefeathers baby. When Hector had a minor injury Heather suggested they get married so he could use her health insurance. After a fast wedding in front of a judge they later had a big ceremony in front of their freinds and family. They currently reside in El Segundo where Hector got a job teaching surfing and Heather oversees one of the three Home Base's she’s in charge of. Their there first appearance together was in the Season Two episode "Can Josh Take A Leap Of Faith?." Heather Davis is portrayed by Vella Lovell and Hector is portrayed by Erick Lopez.

Season overview

Initially Heather and Hector were aware of each other for some time through thier mutual friends Rebecca, Josh Chan and Greg Serrano. It wasn’t until the wedding of Josh and Rebecca that they started seeing more of each other. At the time Heather was assisting Valencia Perez in orchestrating the wedding and went to say hello to Hector and his mother Estella. She complimented them on their podcast "Dating For All Ages" which was about relationships. Heather was a fan believing the show towed the line between creepy and sweet. Estella thanked her for the praise and then reminded Hector to make sure the deejay got their playlist. Hector explained his mom was great at dancing describing her as a "brick house." His creepy description even took the normally unflappable Heather aback. When Heather excuses herself to deal with a wedding issue, Hector suggested to Estella that they invite her over for dinner sometime. Hector, Heather and the rest of the wedding party would later witness Rebecca's despair when Josh left her at the altar. While Estella covered Hector’s eyes as the unfortunate scene unfolded Heather joined Valencia and Paula in trying to calm Rebecca down.
