Katie Schwartz

Katie Schwartz is an American writer, producer and director. She is from Providence, Rhode Island and later spent sometime living in New York City. Her early work includes writing several episodes of “Law of the Land.” In 2016, Schwartz became a writers assistant on Season Two of The CW musical comedy “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.” She was later credited with having written the episode “Is Josh Free in Two Weeks?” Shwartz is an avid dog lover and has several canine pets including one named Elvis who she features regularly on her Instagram. She is dating actor and cinematographer Rob Van Guelpen. Currently she is working as a Writers assistant on the Amazon Prime exclusive series “Transparent.”
