Given that this is the final season of the show and I was just informed that this Wiki and the other one are merging I figured now would be a good time to get some more help keeping the site maintened and adding/editing content. I could use the help and you’re already a regular presence here so let me know.
Excellent. I know you are active on other Wikis and have a lot of experience so any suggestions and help will be appreciated. Looking forward to working with you on this Wiki for the last year of this amazing show.
I just wanted to ask your opinion on the new categories a user added “LGBT” and “LGBT characters.” Do you think they are necessary and if so is there a better way of categorizing or labeling the characters? I personally don’t think either category is needed and having both seems redundant.
We definitely don't need both, just one. As for the redundancy, I know that people like when they can search the characters by sexuality. For example, on The Vampire Diaries Wikia we have a category LGBT+ Characters (it's more inclusive than just LGBT Characters because it doesn't exclude asexuals, pansexuals, queer...
I just didn't want to start drama over there or risk having my comment removed, but I think one of your content moderators is editing comments of users simply to get more "numbers". In my case, I've learned through the many years of editing, it's usually a no no to edit people's comments- especially if it isn't required. It's as bad as changing things on their home page. Just thought I'd bring this to your attention if you weren't already aware. The user was: Jolsarygt And there was no reason he/she needed to remove the extra two "!!" I had in my comment on the Rebekah page. Anyway, that's all :D Just wanted to let ya know! :) Have a great evening! (quickly I'll add, that she reverted every single edit I made- one of which was the exact term of how Hayley died). She's also reverted edits people have made, that reverted them back to the wrong way they were before. Like someone fixed ' to ", and she reverted it back to '. You may want to look into her contribution page. Is this a normal thing on your page? If so, I'll know not to bother editing there anymore. Thanks again.
Well ,it's pretty much like Jolsarygt had said here. I get his reasons, but I also agree with you that it wasn't shouting. So I'm glad that he restored your comments.
Sure, no problem. If you need anything else, I'm here.
I understand, but as someone who has ran many, manyyy wikis through the years and been a councilor like yourself, just a heads up... if your main admins continue to undo every single bit of work other people do, you'll continue to have the drama you did last night- I wasn't the only one who had all the work reverted and got upset. It's so counter-productive to your wiki and stops any growth and new-life it could spring up! :) But, that's just a friendly tip. Do with it what you will. :) Have a good day.
I can possibly see making an opening theme category although it’d only consist of three songs at this time. I don’t think “Scary Scary Sexy Lady” would be included; it’s a parody not an opening theme itself.
