The main difference is that in “Where’s Rebecca Bunch?” those characters had individual verses so it was an actual group song type performance much like “No one else is singing my song.” With the kaorake Song it’s very much just a duet with Maya and Nathaniel performing all the verses and the background characters just singing along.
By that logic we should at everyone that joined in including female bar customer, male bar customer, law firm assiciate #1, law firm associate #2 etc etc. Greg was simply joining in the refrain along with a bunch of other background characters. It’s not just because they sing in that song it’s if they were featured prominently during the performance or had a relevant verse. This song was clearly a duet, two people Maya and Nathaniel.
Wanted to let you know I started the merge update today. The first step is largely done, namely carrying over pages that were unique to the smaller wiki. Feel free to go through the import log and clean up those pages as you see fit - there are about 100 or so, and I didn't carry over the infobox templates, as I figured you already had a set here. So anything with a template redlink on its page, there's obviously more info that would normally appear in an infobox :P
Tomorrow I'll be going through and bringing over images that were part of those pages. The step after that would be comparing pages the smaller site has in common with this one and making a determination as to whether any information is not already duplicated.
The process will be a little slower than normal due to having to cover Gamescom this week, but it should all be wrapped up by the end of the day on Friday :)
Hi! As you've probably already seen, I've made a brand new page called Character Appearances. I think that we need that sort of page because most of TV Shows Wikis have it. I think I've added most of the cast on there. And I'm sorry if I was supposed to consult with you before making such a big change.
Hi Ultimateatomicbuster; I'm Amanda with FANDOM's community development team! I'm reaching out to you to see if you are interested in a wiki spiff: I'd like to edit the mobile main page, possibly create a new background skin, and help add new season 3 content to the nav bar. Let me know what you think, and if you want to proceed I can get the ball rolling.
There is one small thing. With the Top Ten list feature deleted I need to replace all the lists I made with polls. On the main page of the French version of the Community Wiki HERE they made a poll with a photo background. Id like to add a similar custom background for polls I create, if possible different photos for different polls.
So just one dubbing voice in Spanish? If there are multiple language dubs as in the example you gave I can understand. If it’s just one dub I can’t see this being used as a basis for and entire category page or article.
I have an idea, on other wikis I saw that in the songs part there is mentioned the next song of the character and the previous one and the next song and previous in chronological order. What do you think?
My plan is to create separate song pages for each character similar to gallery pages which list their songs in order from season to season. This would replace the list on each characters infobox which would instead have a icon linking to the song page.
I disagree, let me explain my point, for example in "Flooded with Justice" you have credited "The plantifs" as the performers, well that MY opinion only, you are the boss here. Thanks for listening to my proposal
Hey, a lot of TV show wikis seem to have the cast and crew at the end of the articles (or in the infobox, but I like our current infobox style). Helps with tracking minor characters and actors.
Are there currently any articles that have that? If so, I can use those as a template to make a section for every episode. And if not, maybe you could make one and I'll see if I can make the rest?
Two wiki styles I especially like are Memory Alpha (Star Trek) and Buffyverse (Buffy/Angel) (links to episodes provided). Some other features their episodes have are: Navigation between episodes (with episode number) at the top and bottom, a short introduction, "Memorable Quotes", "Behind The Scenes" info, and in other wikis for modern shows I've seen a "Reception" section (also on Wikipedia).
Same thing applies; if you're interested in any of those, just write a section for one episode and I'll get to writing them for other episodes.
Navigation between episodes is already at the top in the infobox with the arrows and a brief summary is there as well. Those other additional sections like quotes and production were things I meant to add eventually but haven't had the chance. I previously worked the Community Wiki before this one and was going to use the format seen HERE on its episode article pages. The only thing I didn't add was the cast info; I'll see about making some kind of template which uses photos of actors and characters.
