Steven M. Gold is an award winning American music composer and producer. He has mostly worked in television for shows on Turner Broadcasting Network, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central. He has done film as well and perhaps his best known composition in the movies was his song "Way Back Into Love" which he wrote for the 2007 Drew Barrymore romantic comedy "Music and Lyrics". In 2009 he received a Grammy award for his work on comedian Stephen Colbert's comedy album " "A Colbert Christmas - The Greatest Gift of All". He also won an Emmy for his collaboration with Adam Schlesinger and David Javerbaum for the opening song to the 2011 Tony Awards. Gold's other work got him two Tony and two Daytime Emmy nominations. He is currently working alongside Schlesinger on The CW network musical comedy "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" as a music producer. |
